Privacy Notice

Information you provide

For an assessment enquiry, we ask for your name, email, mobile number and property address. Property type, electricity bill, retailer, daytime usage and additional notes are optional. If you carry an estimate from our calculator into the form, the reviewed assumptions are included with your enquiry.

For customers with a project, records can also include proposals, agreements, signatures, invoices, payment records, electricity bills, application documents and installation photographs. Please do not send unrelated sensitive information.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to contact you, assess roof suitability and prepare system options. Project information supports quotations, agreements, installation coordination, applicable SP/LEW submissions, invoicing, document access and after-sales support. We also process authentication and technical records to operate the service, prevent misuse and investigate errors.

The enquiry consent is for assessing and responding to your request; it is not a general subscription to unrelated marketing.

Service providers and project coordination

Our website and portal use Google Cloud/Firebase services for hosting, authentication and records, and email delivery services for messages such as sign-in codes. Relevant project information may need to be shared with your authorised installation team, the Licensed Electrical Worker, utilities and other parties involved in delivering your agreed work, or where required by law.

Service providers may process information outside Singapore. Overseas processing must be subject to the applicable protections required by Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act. This notice does not promise that all information stays in one region.

Calculator and browser storage

The calculator runs in your browser. When you choose to request an assessment from it, the site temporarily stores the scenario in your browser session so you do not have to re-enter it. The form only restores scenarios saved within the last 30 minutes; the saved scenario is removed after successful submission. Names and contact details are not stored by this handoff feature.

Necessary browser storage is also used for portal sign-in and site preferences. Google Ads and Google Analytics tracking have not been connected as part of this website update. If optional advertising or analytics features are introduced, the notice and any required choices will be updated first.

WhatsApp, email and external information links take you to other services with their own privacy practices. Clicking WhatsApp opens a message for you to review; it does not automatically send it.

Retention and protection

Information is retained for the purposes described above and applicable business or legal requirements. It should no longer be retained when those purposes no longer require it. Access to project information is restricted by account and role; no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep sign-in codes, document links and account access private.

Privacy enquiries and your choices

For a privacy concern, access or correction request, or to withdraw consent, email enquiry@vonxsolar.com with the subject “Privacy request”, for the attention of the person responsible for data protection. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records.

We will explain any consequences of withdrawing consent, including where it prevents us from assessing or delivering your project. Access, correction and retention are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
